Our goal for Pink Dust Events is to uplift and encourage our fellow females. At each event there have been phenomenal women in attendance and we would like to showcase their bravery, beauty and brains every Friday in this new initiative.
In each feature we will give you a brief intro to the women being featured, what it means to her to be a woman and a quote she lives by. We hope these glimpses into their lives will inspire you to be the queen that you are.
Our first female to be featured is Megan Hunter. This lady has had to literally fight for her life and her bravery, honesty and special brand of quirkiness is why we are honoured to feature her.
NAME: Megan Hunter
WHAT I DO: I am a wife, a mum to 3 fur-children, & I am a friend. I work for Rare Diseases SA dealing with their patients & offering support, whilst helping them navigate the uncertainties of being chronically ill. Having Myasthenia Gravis (a rare disease) myself means I have a better understanding of what they are going through, & can offer emotional support as well. Then I run a blog called Flowercrowns & Treatment which is all about featuring local companies that I have discovered; as well as a social media management company with my friend Tash. My life is full & happy, & I feel so blessed to have the positive, uplifting people around me.
WHAT BEING A WOMAN MEANS TO ME: This means remarkable strength; it means friendship that surpasses that which you can explain; & it means uplifting one another through the good & bad days.
QUOTE I LIVE BY: Nothing is impossible – the word itself says “I’m Possible”. And another fun one is by Dory – “Just keep swimming”
